Tasman Van Fitouts is focused on creating bespoke campers and food vans, designed and fabricated in Dodges Ferry, Tasmania. We pride ourselves on unique, creative, and quality builds with attention to detail and a hard-working attitude. Our growing small business is operated by Harrison who has 15 years of trade experience in the recreational vehicle, marine, and carpentry industries. Harrison is fully licensed in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing and Marine-Craft construction.
With all builds, Tasman Van Fitouts will analyze the project design to meet Australian requirements, such as roadworthiness, and the Australian Design Rule (ADR).
GREENER LIVING
At Tasman Van Fitouts we value lowering our impact on the environment. If you would like to explore the option of using recycled timber framing, such as locally sourced Tasmanian oak, we can include this in the design. We can also use eco-friendly paints and oils, install grey water tanks for national parks, waste recycling bins, and solar making a healthy choice for your van and your environment.
Our workshop has also been fitted with solar to help reduce our footprint and produce every fitout

How much will it cost me to do a custom fitout?The average cost of a van fit-out is dependent on the scope of work and the size of the van. A standard van fit-out can cost between $15,000 to $60,000+ (labor and materials inclusive).

How long would it take to fully fit out my campervan?The average time for a full fit-out for a van is 6 to 8 weeks.

Does Tasman Van Fitouts do design consultations and 3D models for my van?If you would like to have us do a full design and consultation, the average cost will be $550 plus whatever additional provisions and time is needed. The design will include a 3D model of your van, all design components accounted for in your final invoice, and full scope of materials ready to be priced and ordered.

When would I be able to book my van to have work done?The average wait time to start a job is 4 to 6 months. Depending on the job, this might be a smaller wait time.UPDATE - WE NOW HAVE OPENINGS FROM JULY 2024 ONWARDS SO GET IN QUICK

What power systems do you provide for fit-outs?We provide 12v and 240v power systems. Depending on what you are planning to power or use on a day-to-day basis, the system can be catered to you and your van. Each system will differ in price according to what is installed.

Is there Customer requirements?When inquiring about a van fitout, please include van type and model,sketch or list of what you would like the fitout to include, list of appliances you are using or hoping to use, power system required, and budget for the fitout.
