VW Crafter Campervan Conversions
We design and build custom Volkswagen Crafter campervan conversions in Dodges Ferry, Tasmania — from mobile-office layouts to full touring setups with standing room, quality finishes and smart storage throughout.
Built around how you use your Crafter.
Every VW Crafter camper conversion is tailored to your wheelbase and how you travel — but most Crafter fitouts include a practical mix of living space, power and storage for comfortable touring across Tasmania and beyond.
Custom layout
Sleeping, kitchen and storage zones designed around your LWB or MWB Crafter — making the most of standing height and the full cargo length.
12/240V power
Lithium-ready 12v systems with solar and 240V options, sized for fridges, heating and the appliances you actually run on the road.
Storage solutions
Rear drawers, overhead cabinetry and under-bed storage — built to keep gear organised without cluttering your living space.
Water systems
Fresh water tanks, pumps and sinks integrated into the galley — sized for weekend escapes or extended trips.
Diesel heater
Efficient heating for cold Tassie nights without draining your house battery — essential for comfortable winter touring.
Off-grid / solar
Roof-mounted solar and battery banks matched to your power draw, so you can camp off-grid and stay self-sufficient for longer.
Recent VW Crafter Build
Tom's VW Crafter — versatile Crafter conversion that doubles as a mobile office, with fold-down desk, rear drawers and full indoor kitchen.
Tom needed a campervan that could function as both a mobile office and a comfortable home on the road. This VW Crafter fitout was designed to seamlessly transition between work and travel life.
A custom fold-down desk provides a dedicated workspace during the day, while the innovative seating arrangement converts into a comfortable bed when it's time to relax. The van also features extensive rear drawer storage, reclaimed Tasmanian Oak benchtops, overhead kitchen cabinetry and a compact indoor kitchen complete with a Dometic oven and grill.
The finished result is a versatile and efficient space that supports remote work without sacrificing the comforts of van life.
